Key Projects

At RCF ONE, we believe that every project, big or small, carries the power to transform lives. Our focus is not on scale alone, but on creating real and lasting impact within the community. Even initiatives that may seem modest in size often touch lives in profound ways whether it’s enabling education for a child, supporting street vendors with dignity, or empowering women through skills.

Through thoughtfully designed social activities, we aim to address everyday challenges with meaningful solutions. Each project reflects our belief that change doesn’t always need grandeur it needs intent, compassion, and action.

RCF ONE projects are driven by purpose, measured by impact, and remembered for the difference they make.

Project Ananya

Project Ananya is a flagship initiative of Rotary Club of Faridabad ONE, and a cause very close to our leadership’s heart. At its core, Ananya stands for dignity, equality, and empowerment of every girl and woman without distinctions or dividing lines. It is dedicated to those who have been left behind from the mainstream, with the purpose of motivating, encouraging, and supporting them to lead independent and dignified lives. The project adopts a holistic approach, beginning with educating the girl child and extending to making women self-reliant. Its scope covers every aspect of empowerment and well-being, including:

Project Pankh

As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering girls and women and promoting access to education and livelihood opportunities, we undertook multiple bicycle distribution initiatives aimed at supporting mobility and independence Under this initiative, 300 bicycles were distributed to girls and women, enabling them to commute safely and conveniently to schools, colleges, workplaces, and skill centers. In addition, two bicycles were provided to needy girls based on the recommendation of the District Collector (DC), Gurgaon, ensuring targeted support to beneficiaries who required immediate assistance. These bicycles help reduce travel challenges, save time, and encourage continued education, especially for girls from underserved communities. We are targeting to distribute 1000 cycles in2025-2026.

Computer Center

Rotary Club of Faridabad ONE also runs a Free Computer Education Centre at the AAAS Complex, NIT-1, dedicated to providing digital literacy to underprivileged girls and boys. The programme focuses on building a strong foundation in basic computer knowledge, while also imparting essential soft skills such as communication and interview preparation. By equipping students with these skills, the centre empowers them to step into the modern workforce with confidence and improve their chances of securing meaningful employment. Through this initiative, RCF ONE is bridging the digital divide and preparing young minds for a brighter future.

Cervical Vaccination

One of the key initiatives of Rotary Club of Faridabad ONE is the promotion and execution of cervical cancer vaccination drives. Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women, yet it is largely preventable if vaccination is administered at the right age. Understanding this urgency, RCF ONE is working relentlessly to spread awareness and organize mass vaccination camps to protect young girls and women from this deadly disease. By focusing on prevention today, we aim to secure healthier and safer futures for generations of women. RCF ONE believes that timely action can save lives and vaccination is the strongest shield against cervical cancer.

Sewing Centers

As part of its sustained initiatives, Rotary Club of Faridabad ONE runs Sewing Centres to provide free training in tailoring, sewing, and stitching. These centres are designed to equip women and girls with practical skills that enable them to become self-reliant and financially independent. Currently, the centres are being operated at NIT-1 (AAAAS Centre) and Vrinda Public School, Faridabad. By offering hands-on learning at no cost, the programme not only preserves traditional skills but also opens up pathways for livelihoods and entrepreneurship for those who need it most. RCF ONE believes that skill development is one of the strongest tools for empowerment, and these Sewing Centres are a step in that direction.

Micro Finance

The Micro Finance Project by Rotary Club of Faridabad ONE is designed to extend hope with dignity to those in need. The purpose is to support a needy individual by providing small but life-changing resourcessuch as a vegetable cart, a stall, or tools for street vending so that instead of begging, they can become self-reliant. The initiative works on a simple cycle: the beneficiary repays the small loan in easy installments, and once the amount is recovered, it is extended to another deserving individual. In this way, the same support keeps revolving, empowering more and more people to stand on their own feet and live with pride.
